Is WhatsApp the whole workflow or the front door?

WhatsApp CRM vs multi-channel customer operations

A WhatsApp-first CRM can be the right answer for a messaging-led business. The tradeoff appears when the customer emails a document, asks for a formal quote or moves into work owned by someone outside the messaging team.

Who should choose what?

Be honest about the work your team does every day.

These are starting points, not a score. Put the deciding workflow through a current trial or live demonstration.

A closer fit when

WRKZY

  • Customers use WhatsApp and email during the same relationship.
  • Messages regularly turn into deal tasks, quotes or cross-team follow-up.
  • Company and commercial context matter as much as message history.
  • You want configured workflows and assistive AI rather than live autonomous agents.
A closer fit when

WhatsApp-first CRM

  • WhatsApp carries nearly all meaningful customer communication.
  • Chatbots, template automation, retargeting and routing are primary requirements.
  • WhatsApp commerce or ad-to-chat conversion is central to the business.
  • You are comfortable keeping deeper CRM or service records elsewhere.

Inside WRKZY

The channel matters. So does what happens after the reply.

WRKZY supports WhatsApp and email campaigns, then keeps the response connected to the customer and the next owned action.

The details

The best test includes the awkward exception and a handoff, not only the polished demo path.

01

The revealing moment is a change of channel

Ask the customer to begin on WhatsApp, send a document by email and return to WhatsApp for the decision. Then hand the work to another teammate.

The product should preserve the customer identity, current owner, open commitment and commercial context. If the team has to reconstruct those four things, the channel connection is not enough.

02

Messaging specialists earn their place

Specialist platforms can provide routing, chatbots, campaign sequences, commerce, calling and message analytics that WRKZY does not claim. If those capabilities drive revenue or service quality, do not trade them away for a cleaner diagram.

WRKZY is a better candidate when the hard part begins after the conversation: a company record, a deal decision, a formal quote or a handoff to another team.

03

Keep Meta's rules and charges in the comparison

Templates, customer permission, messaging windows, verification, delivery and usage charges are not controlled by the CRM alone.

Check what the software includes, what Meta or another provider charges, and who is responsible for consent and connected-account administration. No subscription makes those obligations disappear.

Pricing

Price the setup you will really use.

Compare subscription, users, numbers, active contacts, message volume, chatbot or automation usage, AI, onboarding and provider charges. A low platform price can still produce a high working cost if the required channel allowances are add-ons.

Moving your data

Prove the import with a small sample first.

Preserve customer identifiers, consent evidence, templates and required message records before changing a WhatsApp connection. Test the provider transition separately from the CRM-data import.
