Start with the Deal pulse

The Deal Room summarizes next action, top rule-based risk, and forecast readiness. Forecast readiness requires probability and expected close date; it does not mean the deal will close. Open the displayed reason to see the explanation, recommended action, and cited evidence.

Common health conditions include overdue commitments, no next action, unassigned value, quote awaiting response, stage aging, customer silence, missing probability or close date, and stage-status conflict.

Trace risk across the commercial chain

  1. 01
    DiscoverQualified need

Customer problem, evidence, and decision process are understood.

  2. 02
    ManageOwned deal

Stage, value, close timing, owner, and next action stay current.

  3. 03
    PriceCatalog and pricing

Approved offers and commercial inputs create consistent line items.

  4. 04
    ControlReviewed quote

Recipient, terms, totals, presentation, and approvals are verified.

  5. 05
    OutcomeBuyer response and next action

Verification, acceptance, questions, and follow-up remain connected.

A stage label is only one signal. Reconstruct the customer need, deal ownership, catalog scope, quote evidence, buyer response, and next action to find whether the risk is commercial, operational, or missing data.

Review risk in context

  1. Check the company, primary contact, owner, stage, and stage-entered date.
  2. Review days in stage and the count of close-date pushes.
  3. Read recent customer messages, tasks, notes, and quote responses.
  4. Compare probability and forecast category with that evidence.
  5. Inspect line items and quotes for scope, value, or currency drift.
  6. Open History to identify who changed stage, close date, ownership, or outcome and when.

Use suggestions with human review

WRKZY may surface suggestions with explanations and cited evidence. Read every source before choosing Apply. Dismiss a suggestion that is stale, misinterprets the customer, or conflicts with governed information. Applying a suggestion changes the record; it is not merely feedback.

Example: a deal looks healthy but is not

A high-value deal may be in Negotiation with 75% probability, yet have no customer activity for 18 days and three close-date pushes. The stage label alone is optimistic. Review the last buyer message, assign a requalification task, and move or close the deal only after the buyer’s current intent is known.

Verify corrective action

After updating the record, refresh the pulse and Work view. The risk should clear only because the underlying condition changed. Confirm the new task, owner, customer event, or transition appears in consolidated activity and durable history.

Escalate integrity problems

If stage and status remain inconsistent, an approval appears stuck, or history does not match the visible state, stop further movement. Preserve the deal identifier, approximate time, expected and actual state, and a redacted screenshot for support.

Deal risk review
  • Customer evidence read before changing fields
  • Risk distinguished from missing data
  • Stage aging and close-date pushes checked
  • Suggestions verified against cited sources
  • Corrective action has owner and due time
  • Visible state matches durable history
