Before you begin
  • An active session in the intended WRKZY workspace
  • Permission to open the record or action you search for

What Command Lens searches

Command Lens combines four types of destination:

  • Records: contacts and matching conversations in the current workspace;
  • Work queues: Needs reply, Follow-ups, High priority, Unassigned conversations, and quote-attention paths;
  • Areas: Inbox, Contacts, Companies, Lists, Deals, Catalog, Quotes, Campaigns, Automations, and Settings;
  • Actions: create a contact, import contacts, add a deal, add/import catalog items, create a quote, campaign, email template, or automation, subject to your access.

It also shows page-aware actions. In an open conversation, for example, it can offer Assign to me, Set follow-up, Mark pending, or Resolve conversation.

  1. Confirm the workspace shown in the application.
  2. Select the search field in the header or press Command/Control + K.
  3. Type an area, queue, command, or at least two characters of a customer identifier.
  4. Read the group label—Records, Actions, Work queues, or a page-specific group—before selecting.
  5. Click the result, use keyboard navigation, or press Enter to choose the first selectable result.
  6. On the destination, verify the customer, status, or workspace before making a change.

Find quickly without acting blindly

  1. 01
    OpenOpen Command Lens

    Use the keyboard shortcut or global search without leaving the work you are reviewing.

  2. 02
    FindDescribe the intent

    Search for a record, destination, queue, time range, or supported command in plain terms.

  3. 03
    ReviewRead the result group and description

    Distinguish navigation from actions that create or change customer work.

  4. 04
    DecideChoose deliberately

    Open the intended result; do not rely on the first highlighted row for a consequential action.

  5. 05
    ConfirmVerify the destination or result

    Confirm the workspace, record, or draft before continuing with the workflow.

Command Lens shortens navigation, but the user still reads the result group, distinguishes navigation from an action, and verifies the destination before changing customer work.

Record matching is intentionally bounded. If a broad query does not find the customer, use the dedicated Contacts or Inbox search with a more specific identifier.

Use page-aware commands safely

Context commands act on the record currently open. Before using Assign to me, Mark pending, or Resolve conversation:

  1. read the customer name and latest message;
  2. confirm the current status and owner;
  3. make sure no unsent draft or unresolved accountable outcome conflicts with the action; and
  4. verify the state after the command completes.

Command Lens makes an action faster; it does not remove its business or permission checks.

When no result appears

  • Check spelling and use a distinctive fragment rather than a generic word.
  • Enter at least two characters for live contact and conversation results.
  • Search the dedicated module if you need advanced filters or older/broader records.
  • Confirm you are in the workspace that owns the record.
  • The current page is marked as current and is not selected again.
  • A create or Admin command may be unavailable when your role does not permit the destination.

Avoid these navigation mistakes

  • Do not infer the workspace from the customer's name; confirm the URL.
  • Do not choose a conversation solely from a matching message snippet—verify identity and channel.
  • Do not use a create command when the record may already exist; search first.
  • Do not resolve work from the command result without reviewing the source record.

Measurable value

Command Lens should reduce time spent navigating menus and time from a dashboard signal to its source record. It should not increase duplicate contacts, wrong-workspace actions, or accidental status changes.
