A campaign is a governed outbound operation
Use a campaign when one approved message and business outcome apply to a defined audience. Use the Inbox for individual replies, Private Mail for owner-scoped email, and Automations for event-driven work. A campaign should not be a shortcut around consent, sender readiness, or customer context.
WRKZY brings WhatsApp and email into one Campaigns command center while preserving channel-specific rules. The overview tracks Draft, Scheduled, Sending, Sent, Failed, Cancelled, and Issues across channels, with counts for selected, excluded, reached, delivered, engaged, and review-ready work.
A complete campaign lifecycle
- 01AudienceGoverned audience
Eligible contacts, consent, and suppressions define who may receive it.
- 02ContentApproved content
Channel, sender, variables, links, and claims are ready.
- 03ControlTest and review
A representative test proves rendering and recipient context.
- 04LaunchSchedule or send
An authorized person commits the final audience and time.
- 05LearnDelivery and responder follow-up
Exceptions and replies become owned operational work.
The seven operating decisions
| Decision | Evidence required |
|---|---|
| Purpose | One primary business outcome and a review window |
| Channel | Customer expectation, consent, content, urgency, and sender capability |
| Audience | A rule or list with channel-specific eligibility and exclusions |
| Content | Approved template or email body with verified variables and links |
| Launch | Test evidence, sender health, schedule, and final recipient snapshot |
| Follow-up | Named owner for replies, failures, and high-intent responders |
| Learning | Delivery and response evidence reviewed after the declared window |
Channel-specific foundations
WhatsApp campaigns use an approved Meta template, an active WhatsApp connection, per-contact phone and opt-in state, mapped variables, optional approved header media, and frequency guardrails. Email campaigns use a send-ready shared inbox, one or more contact lists, subject and body content, unsubscribe readiness, suppression and address checks, and optional open or click measurement.
Campaign Center is not just a sent-items list
Use filters by channel, status, date, and template to locate work. Health notices and issue counts call attention to recipient failures, excluded contacts, missing review, or responder follow-up. Open a campaign for its audience snapshot, send evidence, recipient log, outcome snapshot, responder queue, and learning review.
Example: product announcement
Define the primary outcome as qualified replies or quote requests—not “send to everyone.” Choose the channel the audience expects, build from a governed contact list, exclude ineligible contacts, test every variable and link, then schedule at an appropriate time. After launch, assign actual responders and review the declared outcome after the selected window.
What success means
Delivery and engagement metrics are diagnostic. A high delivery rate with no qualified response can still be a poor business result. A small campaign that produces owned customer actions may be more valuable. Mark the review complete only after exceptions and responders have accountable next steps.
Verify a complete campaign
Open a finished campaign and trace the brief, final recipient snapshot, send evidence, provider outcomes, responder assignments, and outcome review. If one link in that chain is missing, the campaign is not operationally complete even when its status says Sent.
- One primary outcome declared
- Channel and audience are expected by recipients
- Eligibility and exclusions reviewed
- Content tested in the actual channel
- Delivery and responders have owners
- Results reviewed after the declared window
